With close ties to the Actors Centre, Tristan Bates Theatre is a hotbed of new writing, performing and production talent. Works in progress as well as fully realised material created at the Actors Centre often make their debut at the theatre, while the venues own projects - Midnight Matinees (pieces performed at midnight) and Ignition (works written under the pressure of a two day deadline) - focus on generating innovative material with a twist.
