This exceptional young person's theatre has earned its place in generations of young hearts since it launched in 1979. The Wimbledon theatre stages in-house productions, workshops and storytelling sessions for families and schools - look out for literature events featuring children's authors such as Jacqueline Wilson. There's a gorgeous little playground and Polka's cheerful café is a top place for lunch.

Ugly duckling for toddlers - Terrible! very poor performance! The woman playing the duckling scared my 2y old son to tears shouting 'kwak' so loud that I couldn't calm him down. Another child was the same. If you don't know the story - you won't understand what is going on. Who was it made for? Toddlers? No way. Awful, waste of money and the day is spoilt. Don't go.
