New Yorkers love to snap photos of their kids in front of the classic spots—the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, a vibrant block in Dyker Heights. But there are other Instagrammable Christmas lights and displays that are worthy of your attention.

We round up family attractions, shops and light festivals that act as the perfect backdrop for your family holiday photo. Expect neat displays, a floral overdrive and so many other cool features. We hope your camera roll is prepared for the incoming content!

Be sure to check out other fun (and socially distanced) things to do in our December events calendar for kids.

2. Sixth Avenue

Midtown is known for its oversized holiday lights and ornaments—a popular attraction to snap when the most wonderful time of year rolls around. In 2020, they've added a small candy bench—a lovely touch and the perfect place to plop the tots for a picture. Find it across the street from Radio City Music Hall!
