We all make resolutions—some we keep heroically, and some we immediately forget. Whether it’s attending epic family classes, making time to go to the gym or even exploring more epic family restaurants in NYC, any New Year's goal is achievable (well…within reason). This month, we turned our attention to some resolutions we’d love our kids to make in the new year—because face it: eating your veggies matters.

I ________________’s awesome kid, resolve…

1. To conquer my fear of weird noises.

2. To bravely venture beyond buttered noodles at dinnertime.

3. To not touch the subway pole/anything in a public bathroom (and then put my hands in my mouth).

4. To put my LEGOs away sometimes. (“Away” includes not underfoot, not in the fridge and not in Mom and Dad’s bed).

5. To tolerate having my hair brushed.

6. To go to bed without a fuss, give you a goodnight kiss and promptly fall asleep…in my own bed.

7. To not be inexplicably drawn to sharp/pointy/breakable/electrically charged things.

8. To also be ok with my food touching.

9. Same goes for green things. Green things are ok.

10. To not bring up Mom/Dad’s private conversation in front of complete strangers.

11. To delight in putting my coat on when it’s cold.

12. To be kind to my littler (and bigger!) siblings even when they are frustrating.

13. To occasionally walk the dog that I begged you for.

14. To avoid growing up too fast so you (my awesome parents) can enjoy every minute!
