“Charles Long: Pet Sounds” at Madison Square Park
No, Madison Square Park isn’t being invaded by alien blobs. Sculptor Charles Long’s project comes in peace, featuring colored railings with amorphous shapes that suggest creatures in a python’s gullet; running your hand over them produces sounds. Wed 2–Sept 9
