Eat your way through FiDi for under $7 at Dine Around Downtown

You won’t be missing funnel cake at this food fête. On Tuesday 30, Dine Around Downtown hits the Financial District with more than 40 of the best downtown restaurants serving samples of their signature dishes for less than $7 each. The outdoor tasting will be emceed by Aarti Sequeria of Food Network fame and tuned by the smooth stylings of the National Jazz Museum in Harlem All-Stars.

For your fair share, head to One Chase Manhattan Plaza from 11am–3pm, where you’ll find Bill’s Bar & Burger flipping its namesake patty hooded in melted cheese and a top-secret sauce, and made-to-order chunky guacamole from Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina. Thanks to a TV toque and stellar cheap eats, more 15,000 foodies are expected to rush the scene, so arrive early—with forks ready.
