We're ready to break up with you MTA. The L train, better known as the hel(L) train, was all kinds of messed up this morning. Many subway commuters were noting that although mta.info stated the L was running with good service, this was actually not the case. Due to an "earlier incident" (a switch problem) at Eighth Avenue, the L train was running with delays in both directions. Riders were forced to find alternate routes during rush hour while Uber's rates soared. This morning's commute was made even more unbearable by the 82 percent humidity NYC is experiencing today. Good luck out there New Yorkers, and remember to stay cool!
