Stuff yourself with Turkey Day ramen, croissants and burgers

Just as we start to get excited for the only holiday where it’s okay to gorge on massive amounts of turkey and pie (read: stuffing yourself without abandon), restaurants around the city are offering pre-Thanksgiving specials to ramp up the hype. At Talde, the madcap noodle house in Park Slope run by Dale Talde, there’s a Turkey Day ramen complete with stuffing roulade, creamed-spinach–filled dumplings, slices of roasted turkey, pickled cranberries and a side of mushroom-soy gravy. And yes, there are traditional ramen noodles buried in there, too. (Roll over the above photo to check out the ingredients.) The holiday bowl will set you back $15, but there are plenty more Thanksgiving-themed treats to choose from:

Momofuku Milk Bar’s Thanksgiving croissant has made a comeback this year and will be available through the end of the month. Pick up the flaky, stuffing-flavored number packed with turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce for $4.50.

DGBG has rolled out a Gobbler burger ($21) that tops a 7-ounce turkey patty with grilled radicchio slaw, toasted pumpkin seeds and cranberry ketchup. The round sits on a seeded brioche bun and can be ordered for lunch, dinner or on the big day as part of the restaurant's $60 three-course Thanksgiving day dinner

Over at BLT Bar & Grill, Thanksgiving “leftovers” get a makeover: The open-face sandwich smothers a buttery, eggy popover with sliced turkey, arugula, cranberry-mustard chutney and crispy turkey skin.

With these options, you might not have to trek to your relatives' houses to break bread afterall—just stay in the city and forget about your crazy aunt.
