Local label and party collective Secret Guests returns to its OG Brooklyn home, TBA Brooklyn. Secret Guests has been hosting the city's best local talent for quite some time now and is quickly becoming Brooklyn's best source for parties and after-parties. The night begins with a rare happy-hour set from Secret Guests papa Myroslaw Bytz, after which Secret Guests ladies Dahlia (Output), Ele Mondiale (Kommon Veine) and Shy Eyez (Bossa Nova Civic Club) take over the decks late into the night.Read more
The truly astounding DJ, producer and identity-politics theorist DJ Sprinkles makes and plays everything from challenging electroacoustic material to more traditional (though still quite beautiful) house music. In an underground scene flourishing with techno and house music, NYC native Veronica Vasicka is a key component in delivering old-school synth wave to the electronic music community. Having cofounded East Village Radio, Vasicka founded Minimal Wave Records in 2005, a one-of-a-kind label dedicated to rare reissues and new vinyl pressings (via sub label Cititrax) reflecting her passion for old new wave of the late '70s and early '80s. Joining Vasicka in the Bossa fog for this sure-to-be intimate Halloween affair is gritty-techno producer/DJ and Endangered Species label boss Vereker, who's released music on notable labels such as L.I.E.S. and Berceuse Heroique.
