Nancy Osbaldeston
English National Ballet’s Nancy Osbaldeston (pictured), 23, is one of those dancers who just glows a shade brighter than everyone else on the stage. She’s a contender in ENB’s Emerging Dancer competition this year; should be in with a good chance.

Ivan Blackstock

Co-founder of UK Hip Hop champions BirdGang, dancer/choreographer Blackstock is starting to branch out into solo projects. He does humour and theatricality as well as tight moves en masse.

Drew McOnie

The next big thing in musical theatre choreography, you might recognise this boyish dancer/choreographer from the BBC series ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’. McOnie’s moves have fast-footed, Gene Kelly-ish vim, spark and a touch of slapstick. Lots of projects coming up next year.

Riccardo Buscarini

London-based Italian who has made the final of the dance world’s biggest choreography competition, the Place Prize, for the second time. His meticulously constructed piece ‘Athletes’ features a trio of stylised fembots. Also look out for the funny, poignant, French & Saunders-esque h2dance (Hanna Gillgren and Heidi Rustgaard) who are fellow finalists.

Daniel Linehan

US choreographer Daniel Linehan combines NYC hipster smarts with a Belgian conceptual dance education. Hasn’t made much of a dent on the London dance radar yet. Yet.
