Colourful furniture and, if anything, an even more colourful cuisine give this central trattoria a lively, easygoing appeal. The saveurs d'Italie promised on the little billboard outside may take the form of aubergine bruschetta (with the aubergine taking the place of the bread) or rather more traditional meat (saltimbocca, say) and pasta dishes (from chicche to spaghetti).
