Brasserie Flo review Rate it
The Flo chain has installed itself in yet another pretty shell, this time on Nice's rue Sacha Guitry, where much of the building's former incarnation as a theatre is still evident in the opulent, high-ceilinged dining room. The kitchen is where the stage used to be, the best seats are still up in the balcony. Provençal with a twist sums up the simple yet refined menu.

Flo Nice is long gone (closed two years ago). Doesn't really say much for the accuracy of Time Out listings (which are often ridiculously inaccurate or long out of date for restaurants) that it is still listed here.
Our beloved Brasserie Flo Nice was open for us in July but closed in September when we returned and stripped of all its former identity. The website says it is preparing a surprise. Hard to believe on looking at the exterior. Nothing more and the telephone is as dead as the ravaged exterior. What a shame for those who did not visit. She doesn't write... she doesn't phone.. she doesn't tell me where she is....how hard is it to beleive in my former icon of cool resplendent lunchtimes and welcoming personnel....we are bereft.
