This osteria-bacaro offers good, cheap food and friendly service. All day, the long wooden counter has a cornucopia of cicheti that range from the obvious (meatballs and tunaballs) to more refined treats, such as halibut in spicy tomato sauce. At mealtimes, you can sit at tables crammed into the tiny space and order from a small range of primi and secondi that might include a great seafood risotto, or fegato alla veneziana; don't miss the budino del doge, a creamy almond liqueur-flavoured dessert.
