Owned by siblings Andrea and Giorgia, Angiò is the finest stopping point along one of Venice's most tourist-trafficked spots - the lagoon-front riva degli Schiavoni. Tables line the water's edge, with a stunning view across to San Giorgio Maggiore; ultra-friendly staff serve up pints of Guinness, freshly made sandwiches and interesting selections of cheese and wine. Music events are held here during the summer months on Saturday evenings.
