With standing room only in the campo, Al Mercà has been serving Rialto marketgoers with their victuals since 1918. A recent change in ownership has brought young partners Gabriele, Marco and Giuseppe together behind the impossibly small counter. Packed into this tiny space is a snack-filled case with meatballs, artichoke hearts and mini-sandwiches, in addition to numerous options for panini toppings and a generous selection of wines by the glass.
