The first things that come to mind when thinking of Easy Tiger are beer, ping pong and pretzels. But beware: their impressive in-house bakery is nothing to overlook. Accessible directly from the street, the bakery also supplies Austin's best restaurants with baguettes and buns on the regular. Be sure to try all of head baker David Norman's specialties: croissants, Danish pastries, levains, German rye, pretzel buns and baguettes.

Popped into this cafe/restaurant/bar to grab a coffee and a bite to eat on the way to a meeting and I couldn't have picked a better spot. Staff were the usual Austin friendly, the clientele was a great combination of local hipsters and curious tourists who obviously read it was the place to be. Great coffee and the most delicious pasties. Also check out their artisan breads.
