The temps are rising, Hamilton Pool is open again and summer is pretty much here—which means it's time to go swimsuit shopping. Head to our favorite swim shops in Austin for pretty prints and bold solids (plus a couple of cute hats).

STILL&SEA: Nestled within a small strip mall on South Lamar Boulevard, STILL&SEA offers luxe swimsuits behind a narrow, colorful storefront. There’s a sporty vibe to most of the pieces here, and brand names include Acacia Swimwear, Aila Blue and Stone Fox Swim. Swimsuits are separated by colorblock and prints, with most separates ranging from $80 to $100—though there’s usually a discount bin in the back. Try on your new water wear in the spacious changing area, which also boasts a retail section selling jewelry and lotions.

Everything But Water: Good luck visiting an Everything but Water store and leaving without a complete poolside ensemble. The boutiques (there are two in Austin) not only offer a massive selection of one- and two-piece options—brands include Flagpole Swim, Nanette Lepore and Paula Beachwear—but also sell gorgeous cover-ups, feminine sundresses and accessories like scarves, sunglasses and footwear. Separates average around $60, while one-pieces start around $100.

Sunroom: While Sunroom includes more than just swimwear—the women’s shop at South Congress Hotel sells jeans, jumpsuits and breezy tops—the poolworthy section is strong. You’ll find stripes and solid pastels as well as a large selection of modern one-pieces with serious plunge from brands like Mara Hoffman, Araks and Stella McCartney. Pair your purchase with an Iro Yosuzi sun hat, and you’re ready to make an entrance.
