If you're a fan of NY-style pizza, you've undoubtedly been to Home Slice, the popular restaurant and take-out eatery on South Congress. Now one of Austin's best pizza shops is opening a second location—and they're offering way more than pies.

The North Loop location, seen in a rendering below, is currently under construction but set for a fall 2017 opening. In addition to Home Slice's Sicilian pies (which will be offered seven days a week at the NOLO spot), the restaurant will have a full bar that offers curated vermouths and amaros, plus a full classic cocktail program. Why yes, we would like a Manhattan with our white clam pizza. Local craft beer and Italian wines will also be available.

Another difference between the locations? NOLO is going to offer Buffalo wings, a quintessential part of the New York pizzerias that Jen Scoville Strickland, co-founder of Home Slice Pizza, used to frequent. "We are looking forward to turning Austin on to this regional delicacy done right!" she says.

Home Slice NOLO will have patio seating and a sizable parking lot to service both those dining in and taking out. There will also be indoor and outdoor bar seating.

Home Slice Pizza will open near the corner of North Loop and Duval at 501 E 53rd St in fall 2017.
