Austin Art Month
Mayor Adler recently declared November "Austin Art Month," and the celebration is kicking off this weekend with a handful of exhibitions, parties and tours. Check out our guide to the best art events happening over the next few days! Ongoing

Austin International Drag Festival
Hundreds of queens from around the world are Austin-bound for several nights of showcases at night, plus workshops, podcasts, game shows, a photography studio and more at the "Drag Village" during the day. Among the performers taking the stage? Sasha Velour, Latrice Royale, Karen from Finance and Laila McQueen. Through Sunday at various times

Sound on Sound Fest
While Sound on Sound announced, mid-ACL, that they were canceling their festival weekend at Sherwood Forest, they promised to re-book as many artists as possible at venues across the city. And they made good on that promise, as this weekend is set to feature plenty of acts around town (Grizzly Bear on Friday, Noname on Saturday, The Shins on Sunday and more). Wanderlust 108
Yoga empire Wanderlust is throwing an ultimate day of health and wellness at the Travis County Expo Center. Wanderlust 108 is part "mindful triathlon" (with a 5K run or walk at 9am, a 90-minute yoga class and dance party at 11am and a guided meditation at 12:30pm), part experimental fitness class (acroyoga, aerial yoga and hooping are all available). Wurstfest
Known as the “10 Day Salute to Sausage,” the lengthy family-friendly event just south of Austin proper is entering its final weekend, featuring dozens of polka bands, tons of authentic German food and biers, carnival rides and contests. Prost! Fri at 4pm; Sat, Sun at 11am

Noam Pikelny
Universal Favorites is the fourth record by Noam Pikelny, the Punch Brothers banjoist, but it's the first he considers a truly solo album. See this talented act at the Paramount. Sat at 8pm

Feliz Sale
This one-day sale features some of the best makers, artists and designers in Texas. Head to The Palm Door for ceramics from Sister, jewelry from Elisha Marie, furniture from Garman and more. Sun at 11am
