It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 29

Father John Misty
Father John Misty is out and about with his ever-entertaining live show (and personality) in support of his third release, Pure Comedy. If you want an interesting time, then catch either of his shows at the Bass Concert Hall. Through next Thursday at 10pm

Sat 30

Texas Craft Brewers Festival
Craft beer season is officially upon us. This massive fest features live music, food trucks and nearly 200 beers from over 65 Texas craft breweries. Tickets include eight beer tastings. Saturday at 2pm

Austoberfest
Head to Scholz Garden for their annual AustOberfest, a festive party that features bowling, live music from Brave Combo and the Motts, and a dedicated contest stage (Stein Holding, Best Costume, Air Accordian, David Hasselhoff Lip-Sync and more), plus sausage tastings from over 12 local vendors and beers from Celis Brewery, Karbach Brewing Co., Alstadt Brewery and ZiegenBock. Saturday at 5pm

The War on Drugs
The War on Drugs have completed their major label debut, A Deeper Understanding, and now they’re playing it for the masses. Don’t be surprised if this ends up being one of the better sounding shows you see in 2017. Saturday at 7pm

Austin Pride Parade
After Hurricane Harvey rained out the first scheduled parade, Austin Pride is back for round two. Join revelers as they celebrate Austin's LGBTQ community with over 120 floats, costumes, live performances and more in downtown Austin. And be sure to check out our Pride guide for all the deets! Saturday at 8pm

Sun 01

Far East Fest
Chi'lantro, The Peached Tortilla and Korea House are among the restaurants participating in this festival that abides by this ancient Chinese proverb: "To the ruler, the people are heaven; to the people, food is heaven." The ticket price includes free bites from the restaurant booths and food trucks but bring some money to buy drinks. Sunday at 1pm
