“Get in the Game: The Fight for Equality in American Sports”

The opening day of this exhibit is chock full of side-events like a youth basketball clinic hosted by the Austin Spurs, pickup soccer games on the LBJ lawn, Camp Gladiator sports agility games and special apperances by mascots like the Spurs Coyote. But inside the museum you'll find an examination of the intersection of sports and social justice, plus some pretty cool displays like Billie Jean King's tennis dress, Muhammad Ali's autographed boxing gloves and Jackie Robinson's game worn pants.
