Did you enjoy the warmer weather we've had for the past couple days? Good. Because winter is coming. Again.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for tomorrow (Tuesday, January 16), from 12am to 6pm for South-Central Texas. While the temperature is supposed to creep up to 65 degrees today, it'll drop rapidly throughout the night, leaving us with a scheduled high of 29 degrees tomorrow. Freezing rain and sleet will hit overnight, followed by snowfall on Tuesday morning.

"Significant and dangerous travel impacts are likely as ice accumulates on many surfaces," cites the National Weather Service, and "around 1/10 of an inch of ice is expected with up to 1/4 of an inch possible."

Translation? Stay inside, try to avoid driving on the streets as much as possible, and break out those winter coats. And if work is canceled, may we suggest heading to one of Austin's best movie theaters to catch up on those Oscar nominations?

Stay warm out there, folks.
