Just checked the weather and, yep, looks like a solid day for a music festival. Held just outside of Lockhart, Old Settler’s Music Festival brings Americana and roots music to one tiny town for a spirited weekend (today through Sunday). Catch acts like Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Jamestown Revival, Calexico and more, along with artisans selling arts and crafts, and plenty of food and craft beer. Camping options are available, and you can still buy tickets here.

In the mood for a little post-work shopping? Check out SUAVS x Solid Gold, held at the East Austin women's shopping store. SUAVS is a footwear company that makes breathable, moisture wicking shoes, and even if you don't find something you love (doubtful), there will be plenty else to do at the pop-up: sip on drinks, enjoy bites and shop from other brands like Rebekah Vinyard Jewelry, The Onikas, Herland Home and more.

So what's on deck tonight at the Moontower Comedy Festival? A whole lot of hilarity, including Tig Notaro, Andy Kindler, Scott Thompson, Preacher Lawson and a bunch of shows happening at comedy clubs across the city. You can still purchase individual tickets for each show here.
