The poké wars are still going strong, and if you're a fan of the popular Hawaiian bowls, you should check out the newly opened Pokeatery in Mueller. The California-based restaurant technically crafts boxes, not bowls, but the contents are just as fresh and enticing: a base of rice or greens, followed by mix-ins, sides (like edamame or seaweed salad), proteins (like ahi tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, octopus), sauce and toppings.

In the market for some new shoes? There's a SUAVS pop-up shop going on today at Co-Star on South Congress, with 10% off the comfy kicks from 6 to 9pm. Sip on free cocktails from Austin mixologist, Rick Olivares, while you browse.

We're halfway through Free Week, and it's only getting better (and, let's be honest, warmer). Tonight, catch Holy Knives, Otis The Destroyer and Megafauna at Empire Control Room; Wood & Wire with The Deer, Buck Meek and Middlespoon at Mohawk; and Jackie Venson with Mobley and Mélat at Stubb's.
