Two words: Free pancakes. According to IHOP, it's National Pancake Day, and we're really not going to argue with them on this one. The pancake mecca is offering free buttermilk short stacks all day until 7pm, with donations going towards the chain's goal of reaching $5 million for their charity partners: Children’s Miracle Network, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children. Free pancakes, good deeds, what else do we need?

Head to the South Congress Hotel for the third iteration of Symbiosis, starting at 6:30pm. Works from Austin artists Bob Schneider and Gareth Maguire are among the pieces at this show celebrating collaboration, creation and community. Drink specials and music from Manolo Black will also be available—just make sure to RSVP.

Stop by Prohibition Creamery for a nightcap—in milkshake form. The boozy ice cream parlor is hosting a Bartender Milkshake Takeover from 7pm to midnight, featuring some of Austin's best bartenders (Jen Keyser from Holy Roller, Erin Ashford from Olamaie, as well as a few liquor reps) slinging their very best alcoholic shakes. Via 313 will be offering pizza, and 50% of the proceeds will go towards Urban Roots.
