Now that the ice is (slowly) starting to thaw, it's time to put your pants back on and get back out into the world. We believe in you!

Try one of two just-opened healthy lunch options in downtown Austin: Modern Market and Mad Greens. Both moved in less than a week ago, and offer hefty salads, grain bowls and dishes that accommodate food allergies and diets. They're downtown's newest additions—that is, until Fareground opens tomorrow.

It's Wine Wednesday, and there's no better place to hunker down with a bottle mid-week than at Aviary Wine Bar & Kitchen. The charming South Lamar restaurant offers arguably the city's best wine happy hour on what they call Dirty Dozen Wednesday, with a selection of 12 half-priced bottles from 6 to 11pm.

Catch Wood & Wire tonight at the Long Center at 7:30pm. The Austin bluegrass band has toured the country since forming five years ago, but they'll start the new year with a hometown set. Get your tickets here.
