How ’bout that lightening last night, guys? If you're brave enough to venture out today, there's plenty going on—including a Saké Soirée at Lucky Robot on South Congress. The Niigata Prefecture, or "Snow Country", in Japan is well known for its delicate, crisp sake. Try four pours of the rice wine served alongside four bites, like flounder with sea salt and soba, nori, golden beet and micro greens. Tickets can be purchased here.

The Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays are back, starting with the Heptathlon (college women) and Decathlon (college men) this morning. If you can't make it this morning, there are events continuing throughout the weekend (check out the schedule here), and tickets ($10-$40) can be purchased here.

Wine Wednesday at Aviary Wine & Kitchen is never a bad option—mostly because they offer something called the Dirty Dozen, a selection of 12 fantastic wines that are half off from 6 to 11pm. That's a full five hours of discounted vino, not like that one-and-a-half hour rush that most places expect you to fit into their schedule. Thanks, Aviary, you're the best.
