Açai Hut

This Brazilian trailer began slinging açaí bowls in The Picnic food park on Barton Springs Road just last year and plans to open its first brick and mortar in the Mueller district this winter. Each bowl starts with a base of açaí and guarana and can be made “light” (topped with sliced fresh fruit and granola), “powerful” (blended with protein powder and avocado), or “naughty” (topped with crushed cookies and condensed milk). Four different types of smoothies are also offered, as well as gluten-free pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese rolls).
