Stop in for a giant cup of coffee, a butter croissant and Belgian waffles topped with fruit and Vermont maple syrup. The atmosphere of the European bistro is cozy and encourages chatting with neighbors at one of the few communal tables. The eatery also offers light, fresh options for those of us who struggle with the typical eat-everything-while-being-healthy. Keep it simple with Greek yogurt or homemade granola with fresh berries. The best news of all? Breakfast is served all day!

We had tried to get into Franklins BBQ around the corner but (as ever) the line was absolutely huge and so we opted to wander around the area to find something else as it's a nice, quiet area of town. We stumbled upon Blue Dahlia and we couldn't have lucked out any more. A lovely French style cafe with a great selection of teas and tartines (open sandwiches). We opted to share the waffles as well and we weren't disappointed. Rustic style space with great waitstaff and a friendly local vibe. Perfect for a midday bite to eat.
