Originally a gas station that served beer to musicians (somehow legally) back in the ‘30s, Threadgill’s evolved into a music venue in the ‘60s and then reopened as the restaurant of today in the ‘80s. Southern comfort classics, brunch on Saturday and Sunday and weekly performances by local and national acts make this a diner (with two locations) with some soul.
