2 Nd Street Soundcheck

The 2ND Street District and Austin Monthly invite Austinites to attend the fourth annual 2ND Street Soundcheck! This FREE all-day music and street festival will feature eleven up and coming local bands. The event kicks off Austin’s biggest month of music with 12 featured bands on two main stages including new headliner, Austin-based indie favorite Ben Kweller (replacing Vintage Trouble). Come kickoff Austin's month of music with a day of live music, delicious food, cold Shiner Beer, local crafts and tasty treats from over a dozen community vendors - all raising awareness and funds for the Austin Music Foundation. In addition to 12 bands on two stages throughout the day, music fans will also have access to the 10 in-store performances powered by Fender Audio: THE FENDER PASSPORT® VENUE. These showcases will take place at five downtown stores and restaurants and are free and open to the public. Also new this year is the Crown Royal VIP package, perfect for music lovers who want the royal treatment during downtown's biggest street party and music festival.
