2015 Sotx Scarf Project!

The Scarf Project is back! With a lot of help from The Knitting Nest in Austin, and Cascade Yarns, we are able to continue this great project. Our colors for 2015 are green and blue--the shades are your choice. Pick something that makes you happy! The dimensions: 54-60 inches long; 6 to 7 inches wide; packed in ziplock bags for mailing. Notes to the athletes are great, so by all means include those, we just ask you please not attach them to the scarves themselves. Scarves can be made in any pattern and can be knitted, loomed or crocheted. Please wash the scarf before sending it, especially if you smoke or have pets, since many of our athletes have serious allergy issues. This year, we will have three different deadlines so we can better gauge where we are in the process. If you’re in another city and know of a knitting shop that wants to participate as a drop-off site, please let us know; otherwise, feel free to send to Austin!
