The Burro is back!
We're celebrating the release of our 2016 version of our crisp, delicious and easy to drink Mexican Lager.
• TAP TIME: We’ll be tapping the 2016 release of Burro’s Breakfast when we open at 11AM... just in time for a cold pint and hot pie! Burro’s Breakfast, 5.6% ABV, is our craft Mexican Lager calling on the tradition of German influenced Mexican brewing, Burro's Breakfast adds an American craft twist, producing a refreshing lager with just a bit more punch. Burro’s features the characteristic corn sweetness in the nose, a light but full body, and a tart dry finish with just a touch of sweetness and a soft balanced bitterness. And, we're stoked to announce that Burro's Breakfast qualifies as a low-gluten beer!
• LIVE MUSIC: We’ll have the Mariachi Band ‘Mariachi Amor’ on hand to entertain y’all with some great classic Mexican music! Mariachi Amor will perform from 5-7PM at our S. Lamar location.
• TRIPLE CROWN FIRKIN RACE: The Kentucky Derby Firkin Race is the first in our series of Triple Crown Firkin Races! To celebrate the ponies this season, we’ll have three different firkin races to coincide with Triple Crown Races, in which both breweries compete against each other to see which firkin will kick first. The Kentucky Derby Firkin Race will feature the following two firkins:
- "I'll Have Another" - our Burro's Breakfast with Bourbon-Soaked Oak Chips, Lime, & Mint added
- "Manny Fresh" - our Burro's Breakfast with Watermelon, Cucumber, & Mint added
