Karen Kohlhaas is a director, teacher, author and filmmaker - a founding member of New York's Atlantic Theater Company, an acclaimed Off-Broadway company, and has directed at Atlantic and other New York theaters. Karen is a senior teacher at the Atlantic Acting school., and the author of The Monologue Audition: A Practical Guide for Actors, How to Choose a Monologue for Any Audition, and a manual and DVD about her unique approach to rehearsing audition monologues. Currently she is at work on a feature documentary, Tennessee Williams In The Mississsippi Delta: The Love of Things Irreconcilable.
