The American Genre Film Archive (AGFA) is an Austin based repository of 35mm film, mainly drive-in and exploitation films. In AGFA's enormous vaults reside hundreds of film prints. Occasionally films that were previously considered lost are unearthed.
Endangered Fest is a forum for screening these newly rediscovered films for an audience that can love and appreciate them. The first Endangered Fest uncovered the Craig Denney oddity THE ASTROLOGER, which has thrilled audiences since its rediscovery and preservation by AGFA. Co-hosted by lost film expert Chris Poggiali.
The fest includes four 35mm feature film screenings. Proceeds benefit the American Genre Film Archive.
