Afs Presents: Blake Edwards: The Tv Years says
This event is FREE and open to the public.

Blake Edwards, born in Oklahoma and raised in Hollywood, wanted to work in movies from the time he knew what they were. In his youth he was a script courier and later, after his wartime service he became a bit part actor and, later, a writer of film and radio scripts. It was television where he really made his name though, beginning with Dick Powell’s Four Star Playhouse where he provided a number of witty, original scripts that got him noticed, and, especially, later in the decade with his innovative and subversive show PETER GUNN. This free presentation showcases the best of Edwards’ early TV work as writer, producer and director.

The series has been programmed with and will be co-hosted by author Bryan Connolly (DESTROY ALL MOVIES!!!).
