This Sunday, February 15th, 5000 marathoners will descend upon city streets for the annual Austin Marathon, and mile 25 happens to be right on campus! Join hundreds of other Longhorns at the Texas Exes Cheer Zone right outside the Alumni Center. You can expect a high energy crowd, good music, a sea of orange, and a lot of fun. The first 200 people after 10:30 a.m. will get a free burnt-orange T-shirt, just in time for the peak of runner traffic.
When: Sunday, February 15th, 9:00 a.m. (peak runner traffic - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
Where: Outside the Etter-Harbin Alumni Center, UT Campus (23rd and San Jacinto)
What to bring: Signs, pom poms, cowbells, and Longhorn cheer! Or just bring yourself. That works too.
Where to park: While walking or biking is recommended, state lots south of MLK are open. Please note San Jacinto will be closed to vehicles between Duval and MLK.
