Austin Poetry Slamthology Submissions!!

We are excited to Announce that we will start an anthology Book to feature Austin Poetry Slam Poets in a Yearly book!! Call to Submission: The editors are open to a wide range of styles and subject matter. We publish poetry, essays, fiction,and art. The deadline is March 1st, 2015. Please read our guidelines before submitting. Rules of submission: In order to submit you would have had to slam at Austin Poetry Slam at least once. Submit no more than 5 previously unpublished works with a cover letter (including name, contact information, and a brief bio) No previously published work is accepted. Expect a response in 6-8 weeks. The wait will be longer if we are seriously considering your work. Print contributors receive a complimentary copy of the issue containing their work, and may purchase extra copies at a discounted price. There is no compensation for online contributors but we will promote your work enthusiastically and widely. We only accept electronic submissions. All submissions should be typed in 12-point font (preferably Times New Roman). Prose should be double-spaced. Please submit only one short story or nonfiction piece at a time. Poetry should be single-spaced with only one poem per page. There are no restrictions on subject matter, form, or length (extremely long pieces are somewhat at a disadvantage--but we have published them in the past and will continue to do so). Anything of excellence is welcome.
