B Scene: Art And Soul

The Blanton's art party returns on Friday, March 6 with the hippest trip in Austin, B scene: Art and Soul. Experience after hours tours of the powerful exhibition "Witness: Art and Civil Rights in the Sixties" and then lose yourself in the music of the era. DJ Mahogany Dane will be spinning her favorite R & B classics from 6:00pm – 8:00pm to get you in the groove. At 8:00pm, The Soul Supporters will take the stage to share their authentic take on early soul, R & B and blues from the heart with a sparse rhythm section, stinging guitar, and breathtaking, gospel-tinged vocal harmonies. Members are invited to experience the exclusive member lounge on the mezzanine with a cash bar, light bites and comfy seating. FREE for members/ $12 general public.
