Casino Night

Get your cocktail dresses and tuxedos ready, its time for Casino Night! We are moving to a new venue this year, and with that comes a brand new ballroom, delicious food, and top shelf cocktails. Tickets will be $45 presale, and $55 at the door (cash or check only). Tickets will go on sale beginning February 9th in the Atrium, and include: -Open bar featuring signature cocktails and premium liquor -Food - chicken and waffles, grilled cheese, and breakfast bar -Busses to and from the event -DJ -Photo Booth Frequently Asked Questions: Q: Tickets are $45?! That seems kinda high. A: Actually we lose money on this event every year. We are able to subsidize a lot of the cost per ticket from money we raise throughout the year. Without these subsidies the cost per ticket would be around $80. Q: But still.... I don't really feel like coughing up $45. Couldn't we all just go downtown instead? A: You can do whatever you want, but the whole law school goes to this! And let's face it, you won't be able to have a comparable night out in Austin for $45. For everything you get this is a steal, so show up and have fun! Q: So is this event formal, semi formal, or casual? What am I supposed to wear? A: This is a semi-formal event, meaning that girls typically show up in nice cocktail dresses, and the men wear suits. Q: How does the whole casino games and raffle thing work? A: You will get a set amount of chips at the door. From there you can play as much or little as you want. Toward the end of the night you will cash in your chips for tickets and a few will be picked at random. The winners will receive gift cards to local bars and restaurants.
