Join us for readings, poetry, and sharing our personal experiences with and reflections on the Virgin of Guadalupe. Please feel free to bring Guadalupe poems and readings as well. Refreshments will be served.

Following this program, you are invited to gather at Texas Folklife House on 1708 Houston Street (very close to Bookwoman) to ride or caravan over to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1206 E. 9th Street). At TXF House, Cristina Balli, TexasFolklife Director, will provide a pre-discussion on this transnational living tradition honoring the most venerated patroness of the Americas, and will provide English translations of popular Guadalupe songs and Margaret Starbird's prayers of the rosary to follow along at the church services.

Schedule for the festivities at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church:

10:30 pm Caravan will leave TXF house; you are welcome to ride with Balli or caravan in your own cars.
11:00 pm Rosary
11:30 pm Danza Azteca and Mariachi performance
12:00 am Midnight Mass
1:00 am Reception at parish hall - tamales, pan dulce, hot chocolat
