Cinema DaDa

DaDa, an artistic and literary movement that started in Switzerland in response to nationalism during World War I, led to performance, poetry, photography, sculpture, painting and more that mocked materialistic and nationalistic attitudes. In Austin this year, the Electronic Planet Ensemble presents a new short film—a video collection of improvised pieces of music and sound, collages and art—featuring local artists including David Jewell, Melissa Vogt and Sandie Donzica.
