Classic New Orleans: Dinner At Brennan's

The "Classic New Orleans" series at the Central Market Cooking School in Austin continues its culinary tour of the great restaurants of New Orleans on Saturday February 7 with a visit to the world famous Brennan's Restaurant. Founded in 1946, Brennan’s Restaurant is the birthplace of the iconic dessert, Bananas Foster, as well as several other famous New Orleans dishes. Experience a bit of old New Orleans French Quarter history and tradition through this specially prepared menu of Brennan’s Restaurant dishes that your chef and host, Henri Alciatore, has crafted for you to experience and enjoy with exquisite wine pairings. The event includes cooking demonstrations, food & wine service, interesting discussion about the restaurant and the dishes, a multimedia presentation, door prizes and lots of fun. Tickets go on sale January 1, 2015. Seating is limited to only 37-people, and advanced registration is required.
