Code Blue + All Levels Lesson With Christina

Join us at Code Blue Friday March 6th for a rockin' night of dancing and instruction by Christina Tannert! Your DJs for the evening will be David and Brian. Christina will be teaching a $5 drop-in class for dancers with some Blues experience from 9-10pm. Class topic: Listening with your Ears; Listening with your Body We will break down how and what to listen for in a song, and how to translate what you hear into movement through solo practice. Next, we’ll explore conversational dance, and ways to be a better listener in your dancing partnership in order to leave space for individual musicality. Level: Open to all dancers with *some* Blues experience! Partners: Come solo or bring a friend! We encourage everyone to rotate in class so we all benefit by helping each other learn. 9-9:30 Beginner class (free with dance) w/ ShaKera and Katie 9-10 Experienced Lesson ($5) 9:30-1am Dance ($5) BYOB as always; bottled water, sodas, frappuccinos, and snacks available for purchase at the front desk.
