Come one and all!!! We are helping celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Laughter Yoga and World Laughter Day on Sunday, May 3, 2015 with a rioutous Dance Walk!
We will boogie oogie oogie from the parking garage, through Auditorium Shores and end at the fountain at Butler Park where the festival will be! We will Dance Walk! for approximately an hour.
Dress comfortably in shoes fit for fitness. Costumes, bright colors, and wild accessories are always encouraged, but certainly not required! Bring water. Wear sunscreen.
We ask for a $10 membership donation to cover our dues and print materials. This can be paid in cash at the meet up. Please feel free to try before you “buy”.
Please bring a backpack or fanny pack for your water and belongings. The bin on the speaker dolly isn't big enough to fit everyone's things, and we want to be as fair as possible.
And FYI, if it rains, we are forced to reschedule because the speaker isn't waterproof, unfortunately.
This is information about the event from the Laughter Yoga Meetup page: Everyone, young and young at heart, is invited to this FUN FREE event of laughter and play. It is being hosted by the Austin Laughter Club and led by Austin Laughter Yoga Teachers Linda Gillen and Simone Monique Barnes. Laughter Yoga combines simple and playful laughter exercises with yoga breathing, eye contact and a willingness to just laugh. No jokes, comedy or humor are needed. The afternoon will be filled with lots of laughter, dancing, bubbles, hoola hoops and more. Mark Your Calendars and bring your friends!
