Prepare a question and either Karen will answer it directly or the group's teaching will address it. Most importantly — bring your willingness, your enthusiasm, and your warmth. What is this event not? This is NOT a "networking" event for slinging business cards or pitching. This is NOT a sea of white noise. That said, sharing of projects will organically happen and contact information will surely be exchanged. This IS a time to get our faces out of Facebook, pulled up off of our phones, and into the eyes of a genuine, 3D, conversation. What are my transport/parking options getting to the Austin event? Parking is easily available on 11th street, outside Tiny Taiga. What time does the event start and end? What happens if I'm late? The program begins promptly at 3:00pm with a short opening reception. Please arrive to park 10 minutes early for time to walk from your car, get checked in, {iphone browser is fine for showing ticket confirmation}, pick up your swag bonus gift, use the building's restroom, and connect with new friends. Program ends at 5pm. If you must arrive after 3pm please be respectful and enter quietly. No. Please have the emailed confirmation already pulled up on your phone before entering. The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Dreamcatchers District is an Invite-Only event. However for this Austin event, transfers are accepted. What if I work a regular 9-5 job, I'm not creative, entrepreneurial, or a thought leader? Dreamcatchers are also made up of grad students, yogis, healers, slash career holders, and those still finding their next bold move.
