Earth Hour Austin says
Be a part of Earth Hour - the world's biggest celebration for our brilliant planet! On March 28th, global citizens from more than 120 countries participate in a lights-off event at 8:30 PM local time. Although the event is brief, it stands as a sign of solidarity and combat against climate change.

The WWF sponsored event stands as “a movement that has achieved massive environmental impact, including legislation changes by harnessing the power of the crowd.”

The Texas office of Public Citizen hopes to not only participate in this event with Austinites, but hope to further inform everyone with a series of facts, videos, and other multimedia every day until March 28th!

Press attend, share the event, and participate! Be sure to change your cover photo! #EarthHourAustin
