Join us for a special and uniquely Austin workshop. In this two part workshop, noted photographer, John Langmore, will accompany students while they photograph one of Austin’s great cultural events - Eeyore’s Birthday.

This workshop is also special in that all proceeds will be donated to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.

We will begin on Friday evening, April 29th at 6:30 in the Precision Camera University classroom. Students should bring 5 - 10 printed images, and John will review students’ work and discuss ways to take their photography to the next level. John will work with students to prepare them for the next day of shooting Eeyore's Birthday at Pease Park.

To ensure a personal experience the class will be limited to 10 students so register soon!

Friday, April 29th in the PCU Classroom from 6:30 - 9:30
Saturday, April 30th from 11:00 a.m. until dark

Admission is FREE to Eeyores Birthday.

Parking is FREE at the state parking garage "E" and lot 3 on Colorado between 16th and 17th streets where our shuttle busses will pick you up and return you all day long!!!
Handicapped parking is also available at the same location, we have special needs busses chartered in our fleet for our shuttle service

The Capital Metro bus 338 (Lamar/45th route) runs on Lamar and stops at Martin Luther King. It runs until 11:00pm. Capital Metro will be adding extra busses specifically for our Eeyore’s Birthday this year!

The Shoal Creek Hike and Bike Trail is a wonderful way to get to and from Pease District Park.

What to Bring:

Instructional Class:
-Each student will need to bring 10 printed photographs to the Friday evening review session. It is preferred that students bring images related to a common theme if they have they have them.

Day of Shooting:
-Memory cards
-Several fully charged batteries

John Langmore is an accomplished photographer whose long-term projects have been widely published and exhibited. He is also the son of well-known photographers, Bank and Dorothy Langmore. John’s most recent project on the American cowboy is currently touring major museums in the U.S. John has photographed Eeyore’s Birthday for more than ten years and is excited to accompany the class there whether students are going for the first time or have been there since the beginning.
