Pairing wine and food is always at the top of every wine lover’s favorite things to do; however, I often see a level of trepidation that it will not go as expected. There are some definite tricks of the trade that anyone can learn to elevate the flavors of the meal and inspired great conversation with your guests. In this class, we’ll tackle one of the most common pairing conundrums, Charcuterie, and we’ll be able to apply what we learn to the broader theme of pairing wine with any food. As many of you know, we always serve charcuterie in our classes, but this time, we get to build the wines around the tasty snacks. We’ll see how to truly elevate or play off of the common flavors, spice, game, leather, etc.
Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers and include flight of wines and charcuterie from Salt & Time. Due to the popularity of these tastings, we are now offering two seatings.
