Hill Country Conservancy says
2016 is here and EPIC is launching a new year of exciting events! To celebrate, we're taking over the Bearded Lady, a gallery and screenprinting shop in East Austin. Members and non-members alike are all welcome.

Stop by after work for delicious beer from Austin Beerworks, tunes from Dj Kay Cali, cocktails from Tito's Handmade Vodka, and snacks from My Fit Foods and SkinnyPop. This is a great opportunity to learn about EPIC, find out about all the upcoming events we have in store for 2016, get educated about Hill Country Conservancy and the Violet Crown Trail, and meet other young outdoor enthusiasts!

About EPIC: Emerging Professionals in Conservation (EPIC) is a program for outdoor enthusiasts who have a love for the Hill Country, a passion for conservation, and enjoy meeting interesting people! By participating in EPIC, members are able to experience the environment while socializing with peers through activities including kayaking, bike riding, paddle boarding, underground caving, peach-picking, camping, hiking, and so much more.

The purpose of EPIC is to educate members about environmental issues through outdoor recreational activities in Central Texas. Member dues paid to EPIC go to supporting Hill Country Conservancy’s many projects in Austin and the surrounding areas. This includes the Violet Crown Trail, which, once complete, will be a 30 mile trail providing a unique recreational experience as it passes through the urban wildlands of the Barton Creek Wilderness Park, the City of Sunset Valley, and eventually into Hays County.
